A Double Podium at Snetterton!
Rounds 5 & 6 of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB 2026 season took us to Snetterton, where it was a P1 & P5 in Race One, then a P2 & P3 in Race Two for the Rosland Gold pairing.
Saturday’s double qualifying session saw P2 grid for Callum Voisin and a P5 for Isaac Phelps for Sunday’s Race One, whilst the second qualifying session at the end of the day saw a P2 for Isaac Phelps and a P3 for Callum Voisin for Sunday’s Race Two.
Race One on Sunday saw a good start by Sid Smith from Pole, with Callum Voisin close on his tail for nearly half the race. Then on Lap 8 the Porsche Scholar Voisin made a move at Williams corner entering Bentley Straight to move into the lead, where he stayed until the end of the race. That’s 4 wins from 5 races for Voisin. Meanwhile Isaac Phelps started in P5 and after losing a place he soon got it back to finish in P5. A decent result for the Rosland Gold Racing by Century Motorsport team.
Race Two on Sunday had a healthy enough start by both the Rosland Gold drivers, but Will Jenkins on Pole kept his position with Stephen Jelley following him, with the Rosland drivers behind until around half the race passed and Callum Voisin passed Jelley to take P2 behind the leading Jenkins, who continued with excellent tyre management to stay at the front for the whole race. A couple of laps before the end, an eager Isaac Phelps managed to work passed Stephen Jelley as well and move into P3, where he stayed until the chequered flag. It was a P2 & P3 double podium for the Rosland Gold duo!
Now we have a little break until Rounds 7 & 8 at Thruxton on 25-26 July.
