James Kellett stormed Oulton Park with a vengeance, claiming his second win of the season in spectacular fashion!
As the engines roared to life, James lined up on the grid for Race One, a formidable P2 position secured during qualifying. The moment the lights went out, he seized the opportunity to take the lead. With skill and precision, he navigated the twists and turns of Oulton Park, leaving his competitors in the dust. Lap after lap, James displayed a masterclass in racing. When the chequered flag finally waved, he crossed the finish line a staggering 6.5 seconds ahead of the nearest rival, clinching an impressive P1. The crowd erupted in thunderous applause as James celebrated his well-deserved victory, marking his second triumph of the season.
Race Two had its fair share of drama. An early incident at turn one sent the safety car onto the track. With the track cleared, it was a sprint to the finish line, leaving just a handful of laps for the drivers to prove their mettle. James, determined to continue his winning streak, charged ahead, swiftly manoeuvring his way to P3. However, fate had other plans. In a heart-stopping moment, contact from a rival sent him spinning off the track. Undeterred, James fought back with unwavering determination, battling his way to a commendable P5 finish. Considering the challenges he faced, including a reverse grid of 5 and the contact that sent him off course, it was a result to be proud of.
What a weekend it was for James, leaving Oulton Park with his head held high. He has proven time and time again that he's a force to be reckoned with on the track, and we can't wait to see what he has in store for the next race at Knockhill in August.
