The One week on from finishing an impressive eighth in the British Indoor Karting Championship’s Grand Final event, the teenage talent continued to shine as she overcame a number of drivers with more Ginetta experience to record a best result of 12th on two occasions.

With her only previous times behind the wheel of a Ginetta G40 Junior having been on the Blyton Park circuit, some pre-event test sessions on Friday were crucial as she got acquainted with both her Alastair Rushforth Motorsport prepared car and the Brands Hatch Indy circuit for the first time.

Brea Angliss Fights Forward In Impressive Ginetta Junior DebutBrea Angliss: ’“I’m delighted with how my first weekend in car-racing went. It was such a huge learning experience for me for so many reasons, from learning the circuit for the first time, to working with a new team and getting used to the format of a race weekend.

“The main focus was on keeping my nose out of trouble and learning as much as possible, so it was mission accomplished. I kept getting quicker and more consistent in each race and was able to get stuck in and make some overtaking moves too.

“I loved every second of it and it’s made me even more determined to get the budget together to go racing full-time next year. Thank you to Rosland Capital for their support in getting me on the grid, and to Alastair Rushforth Motorsport for giving me a great car over the weekend.”
