This design, depicting St George slaying the Dragon, has been created by the highly respected and experienced coinage artist, John Bergdahl, who has produced several designs for UK coins and medals, and whose work with The Royal Mint includes an equestrian portrait of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in honour of Her Platinum Jubilee in 2022 and also a design to mark the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III in May 2023.
With just 250 sets minted, this limited edition set of three fractional Sovereigns struck in 22k gold is a wonderful addition to any collection, presented in a wooden gloss box, with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity.
