The American Eagle is a modern, extraordinarily beautiful American coin made of 91.67% fine gold, which was sold in 1986 as 1 ounce with a diameter of 32.70 mm, a thickness of 2.87 mm and a face value of 50 US dollars was first offered for sale by the US Mint.

In addition, 1/2 ounce (15.55 grams) with a diameter of 27 mm and a thickness of 2.15 mm, 1/4 ounce (7.78 grams) with a diameter of 22 mm and a thickness of 1 , 78 mm, and 1/10 ounce (3.11 grams) with a diameter of 16.50 mm and a thickness of 1.26 mm.
