Burton wins Rookie Champion in Porsche Carrera Cup GB 2022
A fantastic first season in the Porsche GT3 Cup car for Gus Burton, finishing 4th in the championship (despite the first 3 of 8 meetings getting off to an unlucky start) and actually winning the Rookie Championship.
Gus has been right up there from the off with his times, with a few P1 and P2s for the grid. Finishing 4th, just a few points away from 2nd place is a fantastic achievement, especially with the bad luck in the final race of the season too. All of us at Rosland Gold are very pleased and proud to have been involved!
This really has been an exciting season for Gus, Rosland Gold Racing and Century Motorsport. For Rosland Gold it has been a massive move up from our own introductory season last year. We are all looking forward to next season already!
