With the birth of Prince George on 22nd July 2013, it meant that there were now four generations of the current and future royal line, including Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and Prince William.
The design on these coins features the official family portrait released for the christening of Prince George. It was the first time that a photo of the current monarch with three generations of future kings had been released in 119 years since an 1894 image of Queen Victoria with the future King Edward VII, George V and Edward VIII.
