ROSLAND RELEASES NEW COIN CELEBRATING 70 YEARS OF FORMULA 1®
ONLY FROM ROSLAND
This new proof coin release celebrates 70 years since the first British Grand Prix was held at the Silverstone Circuit on May 13, 1950. The Grand Prix has now taken place 70 times, with 53 of those events occurring at Silverstone.
This unique design features the speciallycreated F1 70 logo on the coin’s reverse, as well as the name “British Grand Prix”, in F1’s own distinctive font, while the “70 – Born 1950” logo appears on the protective package.
On the obverse side of the coin is Ian RankBroadley’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the year of minting – 2020.
The packaging includes a Certificate Number, statement of metal fineness, weight, proof quality statement, and the signature of the Swiss assayer who oversees the work of PAMP, one of the world’s finest mints.
Only 5,000 of these unique coins will be minted. No more will be offered.
